Hi, my parents have also applied for citizenship and are over 55, I heard there will be an interview to verify the documentation. There is not a lot of information or timeline available for applicant over 55 which have a simplified process.

I'm waiting on them! had my test marked as completed on April 12 and they received my BGC results two months ago but still in progress!

Finally. Language, prohibition, physical presence all marked as complete. Just awaiting ceremony now. Feels good to see some progress.
Here is my timeline.

Applied online - Toronto - July 14, 2021
AOR - October 6
Scheduled for citizenship test - March 4
Citizenship test taken and updated - March 17
Physical presence and language skill marked as complete - June 30
Prohibitions marked as complete - July 4

Now we wait for the ceremony. Does anyone have an estimated time on when I can expect the ceremony? I know there are no guarantees but just an average timeframe will help me a lot in planning. Thanks all. This forum has been very helpful.

Same here. Only the citizenship test and BGC have been marked as completed, and last update was on May 3rd.

You will hear soon, this month probably. I took my test in March and heard back from them in June.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting me know this. I emailed them yesterday and got a response within 5 minutes giving me a date for my ceremony. Today I logged in and saw that my tracker has been updated with my ceremony date. Wow. I was shocked to get a response so quickly and believe I got this update quickly as a result. Being proactive has paid off in this regard. Thank you sooooo much!
