If you look at immitracker there is a slowdown in PPR issued in July and August. What could be the possible reason for this. Is it due to summer holidays and staff shortage or there is more to it.

If you compare with last years on the number of reported/issued PPRS:

2017: dip in September after busy August.

2018: dip in September and August after busy July.

2017: big dip in August and it seems like in September.


Potentially there are two reasons:

1. Summer holidays, COs are on leave

2. Dip in number of ITAs post January/Feb will result in less PPRs, which we can observe using this chart:

I completed my biometrics on 12th Aug while the status on my profile changed from "Your action is required" to "Submitted" a few days ago the biometrics section still says "We have not received your fingerprints.......". My last day of submission was 6th Sep.
