About emailing Hon.Ralph, I don't know if it helped but i asked very nicely- I decided against using our usual "impersonal" format.

My six months wasn't even up yet (it was a few days to it though) and it was my second time mailing his office. Robyn replied me within a few hours.

Just give it a try...I have emailed him today as i completed 6 months mark...
Calling CIC has not been useful for me as agent won't let me know anything...

Posted elsewhere, but the above may explain why security screening is taking longer than expected at the moment!

Just hanged up from a call with IRCC, my security was initiated since mid-December and is still ongoing. The agent told me that he cannot know at all how extensive it will be and cannot tell me if I am undergoing enhanced security screening or not. He told me it can be very quick or very long depending on the file (that we know already). He said my file is at CIO.

I have asked about the next steps and when should I call them again and he told me he cannot say at all, it is up to me.

What would you advice me to do now?

My AOR date is 16th July 2018 (CEC). I was told by CIC agent that my PR application was approved on Dec,7th, 2018. But I have not got any email/communication from the CIC till date. My application is being processed at Sydney office, Nova Scotia.Timeline for my application is as follows.
Need your valuable comments on my situation.
