Thanks for the response. At US point of entry, were you ever asked why you and your husband have different surnames on your international passports or did you always have to carry your marriage certificate along with you to proof your relationship with your partner?
When I landed in US, I don't remember them asking me for any documents, just 2 questions and got the stamp and went to agriculture department ( we carry lot of food around lol). But I had it in my backpack along with photocopies of spouse's documents. In the case of Canada even if you are accompanying spouse you will have your own visa stamped in your passport and COPR so you should be fine because you already provided it with the application. Besides there is no harm in carrying one with you if you are asked for it. I don't know where you have it registered but in my case I can download as many copies as I want from the website of the state where we registered it. And funnily enough that is an original document even though it doesn't look like one so we made sure we laminated it, people easily accept the laminated copy when actually they are all the same. The state doesn't give any physical copies anymore to make it easier for people to get one from anywhere once it is registered. Sorry for the long reply. But you can keep a copy with you in these specific situations but otherwise no one really asks.

@tobs@RaulFloyd - I dont think Sydney, NS will issue the PPR email. The file will move to the local VO in our case and they will issue PPR. Correct me if I am wrong?
