I actually have same thought, i seen cases they get ppr or update after few days, a week after they order gcms, but i guses thats just coincidence

I have also read about people who got updates after ordering gcms...
This is just a coincidence. Nevertheless, hope you get your PPR very soon.

Just a hint: everytime you think that CIC is going sequential (or even close to sequential), take a deep breath, hold for 3 seconds and bury that thought as deep as you can.

So, I just received a request letter on my profile for sending my CV/Resume. So, I believe that ghost update was associated with the additional document request.

Not too sure. The update that I received was basically associated with additional document request (Resume/CV). I am going to send it today. After that, it is the officer decides to approve my application after reviewing my CV or sending it for further review. So, it could be a quick PPR right after or a long review. We will find out.
