Hey everyone,
I just received an email from IRCC like 15 minutes ago stating that from December 12, 2018 they are going to put a progress bar in our profile to show the estimated completion date based on their latest estimated processing time.
This is something totally new and it might help to give us more insight about our applications. who knows!

That's great but I am assuming it would just be an eye wash. it will show you the timeline upto 6 months. It will tell you that you are going to receive PPR email the last day when you complete 6 months because the processing time is 6 months. So I am not keeping my hopes high.
Hi....
I submitted my AOR in July.... IP2 in progress since last 35 days.... Not getting a PPR. No document request either... Kindly tell me if anyone else is experiencing the same.

Yeah, correct but at least it gives an idea to everyone that they should not expect it anytime sooner than 6 months. It's just more for saving IRCC from receiving high number of calls everyday (which I highly doubt it happens).

Definitely a good sign.
Eligibility is "Recommend Passed" by agent and now it is up to Visa Office to change this to "Met" and give you PPR.
By end of 2018, you will get PPR
I doubt if this update on 12 Dec will solve anything. I just expect them to put number of days passed since AOR and then you will see estimated days left from 6 month’s completion. I don’t expect them to give any more information beyond this
I really hope it shows the GCMS assessment status (eligibility, criminality and security), which is why people call CIC... otherwise it will be kind of useless

sorry for the long post but I hope one of you might be able to help me with this. I got an additional document request today to fill up imm 5406. I think the reason might be because the the address in my proof of funds bank letter and my home address i provided slightly varies. For example, in my bank statement my address is , 1st street, apt 123, xxx - 12345 , in the address i provided it is 1st street, apt 123, yyy - 12345. Ie the city name is different. The reason is, I live in a newly constructed community that was incorporated recently and so the address in the banking systems and the official address slightly varies. I tried to update this info to the letter of explanation but I did not find a way to update it since my application is already submitted. Would it make sense to add this a letter of explanation and attach it to the imm 5406 form or is there any other way of notifying CIC about this? Thanks again for your help!
