My experience shows that you shouldn't always expect a quick reply from his office. I emailed him on last Fri and still waiting to a response.

I doubt that his office even consider all the requests.

Eligibility: In progress, being verified
Case Processing Center: Ottawa
Background status: Not yet started, waiting for eligibility check to finish


Application information:
AOR: July 28, 2018
MEP/IP1; August 22, 2018
Country of Residence: Philippines

Hi,

I got status change like this Application/profile updated” instead of the usual “Submitted” in cic website , but I don't see any change inside . My current status is back ground processing , I dont see any change inside the application , any had same experience

That is what is called as ghost mail.
