I called CIC agent and asked for my eligibility, agent said eligibility looks good, I asked the agent does it mean that my eligibility is recommended pass or pass, she said its recommended pass, my background and security check has not yet started.

Does anyone have idea, how long does it take to change from recommended pass to pass ?? my AOR July 7th.

Mine is also the same status. Mine AOR is 11th July. Let me know if you endup calling them.

Hello Guys, I saw an update on my application yesterday and called CIC. Agent told me that my application has been approved and I will be notified shortly but there is no email communication yet.

My situation is bit tricky. I am staying in canada already and my last project has been over on 31st August (with closed work permit). Currently I am staying on implied status without job (as I have applied for BOWP along with PR which didn’t come yet). I am not able to apply for jobs too without a legal status.

• Any idea how much time they will take to send me PPR request? And by when I will be able to apply for jobs?

Anyone from USA still in IP1? On immigration tracker I saw a few guys from USA has gone into IP2 and PPR 7 days ago with AOR July 21st and July 22nd.

When was your medical passed? when did the IP1 start for you? Have you tried to call IRCC and talk to an agent to find out eligibility and background check status?
