Eligibility appears met review required for foreign work.

The ironic thing is she has enough points even without the foreign work. Last time she applied she used the wrong noc for foreign work and she was denied. She wrote a letter of explanation on the second application. Last time they deducted the points for foreign work and it dropped her one point below the cutoff. This time if they ignored the foreign work like last time it would drop her score one point above. So this whole wait is a total waste of time.

In the meantime she is unable to work and I’m covering us both financially. We expected no more than 6 months.

i can understand your frustration. I am also in same boat. waiting for last 14 months to hear update on my file. last week i got remedical request. i hope now they finalize my application. when is your medical going to expire?

Reapply July 2018 with updated info and docs.

Estimated completion date : Jan 16 2019

i hv seen may june and july 2018 applicants are getting remedical request and getting their PR. stay positive. she is gonna get remedical request very soon. you can only wait.

it is just a matter of the file being looked into again - that is the only cause for delay.. it is moving slowly though..
