You don't need to change it. The PPR letter from Ottawa can be submitted anywhere in the world. Just take it to the VFS in Delhi alongside your passport, photographs and the height and eye color information.

I received a new Request for Passport email today morning (9th Jan), this time from the New Delhi Visa Office. The instructions it contained are more relevant to my case. All I did was drop a CSE enquiry on 7th Jan.

Thank you for your comment. Such a relief!!
I did raise many CSE and none of the reply has that sentence. They always say things are in order or confirm that application still in process....
But it has been 8 weeks almost for security.... gcms note should come soon...

Hey @annevn8 I think you should not worry much. My security too went on for more than 2 months before i received my PPR.
I hope that you receive your PPR soon. Its just around the corner

I could judge it from my status update. On Oct 25, my BG status changed from "BG not started.." to "BG in process..." i.e. from IP1 to IP2.
My application was approved in last week of Dec. So i guess, my security went on for more than 2 months.

And background processing is Going on... It's been more than 4 months since my AOR-25TH. I am bit worried.. They r taking so much time in background checking... Any idea guys, when can I expect my PPR? Do they generally take this much time in background checking? Any other person who has same timeline??

I got Medicals done on 3rd August and the updation was made on 22nd September.. Sorry I got my ITA - 25 July 2018 and AOR - 28 August...

Ah, Ok. Now it makes sense. It's normal.

Ours is not started, most action happens in the last 1-2 months.
