Hello Hello!!
Good News!! I just got my PPR !!!!
My timeline as follows:
ITA: Jul 11
AOR: Jul 28
MP: Aug 19
IP2: Nov 16
Ghost update: Dic 18
PPR: Dic 21
AOR to PPR: 147
No. Applicants: 2
Office: CPC- Ottawa
Congrats
However, the notes confirmed that my FSW-Outland application has had no update since Aug 20th
I think my application is idle as well, but since October. So much that I am thinking in how to 'force' the application to start moving again. I have read that requesting notes could do that, since someone needs to read the application to redact sensitive information. Well, in my case I ordered them in the beginning of December, but as of yesterday my security was still not started.
Then I thought about raising a CSE. I do have a minor reason to update my application, as my wife have new passport stamps that I could upload. Two CIC agents told me that it is not necessary, but I think it would force someone to take a look at my application.
Does anyone know about similar situation, in which raising a CSE seemed to 'expedite' the application?
Hi everyone ! Two quick questions:
1. Is there a WhatsApp group associated with this forum? How can I join it?
2. Is it true that you are supposed to have your funds in cash when you land in Canada? Someone tried to convince me of this but this sounds like an urban legend.
Cheers,
R

I do need advise from you all. please help.
I'm CEC Inland file has been approved on Dec 19 and moved to Sydney. Now waiting for PPR.
1. Can I raise CSE to do follow up on waiting PPR. If So, would I get the response with mention like file is approved and PPR yet to trigger?
2. Can I send email to Ottwa and CIO Sydney to do the same follow up.
Or is there any other way to get on the email from CIC that my file has been approved?
I really appreciate your help.

How do you know your file has been approved? From call center agent? You should raise CSE first. I got the reply of my CSE within one business day which says "a decision has been made on your application and responsible office will contact soon". Do you know your primary visa office? If you do then I can suggest you to email your primary office as well. I am not sure how much it will help because I am waiting for last 1.5 months for PPR, file approved on 5th Nov.
Hope you receive your PPR soon.
Good Luck!
does anyone know how they transfer files? via mail or electronic ways?

Thank you so much for your response. Yes , CIC agent confirmed the file has been approved. I'm not sure about Primary visa office , but I guess Ottawa ( as for most CEC that is primary ) and secondly agent mentioned the file moved to Sydney.
As recommended I will raise CSE to get the approval confirmation.
Can I send the email to Ottawa and Etobicoke as guess this would be my nearest LVO.
I hope we all get the email soon. Good Luck!

They as in IRCC?
If that’s the case then it might be classified information and I don’t know what you are trying to get to with that info.
yes of course ircc who else could it be? i guess i can be curious about anything. but still i was curious about the transfer time between visa offices.

It is electronic and it is immediate. You can see that in GCMS notes.

Oh good, I thought you were trying to hack their communication channel

Hi everyone,
Question for people who already got their PPR emails? How long does it generally take to get your passport back ? Also i believe they provide you a time of 30 days to submit the passport. Is it possible to ask for an extension incase you are not in the country?

Do both if your application is approved.
