How come you are in IP1 as for CEC Inland, Background check starts immediately after Medical Passed

Not sure..... by my cal with CIC got to know that my file is in Vegreville

I am still in IP1, and heard that Vegreville location is closed, not sure about the current CPC

CPC Vegreville is closed and CPC Edmonton has taken over and processing their files.

CEC Inland
CPC : Vegrerville

Tried ordering GCMS notes on 15th October, 2018, haven't received yet, did try to mail them but no luck..
Called CIC, got to know that my eligibility is recommended passed (is this positive?), but my background check haven't started yet.
Anyone in same boat ????????

I have a friend who is in the exact same situation as yours but AoR is 15th July. Ordered 4 gcms notes. The 4th GCMS notes was the same as the 2nd one which was 3 months apart. Never received the 3rd one.

Extremely slow processing times and we don't know what's the exact reason!!

Well, that's really odd. I thought all the CEC-inland applicants have the same wording for their background check right after medical pass: "We are processing your background check".

Well, I just have this weird feeling of getting PPR by the end of 2018. I don't know. And it is not the end of the world if we don't get it by then.
I was also checking last year's issued PPRs and it looks the last few days of 2017 they issued lots of PPRs. So, let's wait and hope for the best.

so am I. July 17 AOR and still in IP1 as only medical has passed. Good to know I am not a lone ranger here!

I’ve been seeing primary and secondary visa office and how change in VO could be the reason for the delay in PPR. Please does anyone know how true this is or can someone explain the real issues. Thanks

IP1 16th August

First ghost Update 27th December
Second Ghost Update 4th December
Third Ghost Update 7th December
PPR 7th December

July 15 aor, medical passed aug 1. And finally background check changed to processing today.

Finally moved into IP2 stage... it took 154 days for me to get into IP2...

Then try Ordering Notes. Hopefully, you will get PPR before that.
