I also want to know about it, how long can we extend? Heard we can get additional 30 days but not sure

Eligibility - Met almost a month back(As confirmed by Ralph and cic agent)
Criminality - Done
Security - Not initiated since almost 3 weeks now
VO Ottawa, FSWO India

I don't really understand why the security check is taking so long. anyone with a similar timelines and status? Any views would be helpful

I thought you said your ordered on Oct 5th and got nothing yet! If so, aren't you way over your 35 day period?

You must have confused me with someone else.
i did receive my notes (ordered on 23rd OCT) and received it in exactly 30 days (22 NOV).

As far as I know it is a system where they search candidate information for security checks. It is one of the steps in security check.

My application and timeline are almost the same, just 1 day later. The last I head about my security was on Nov 15th, and it was 'not started'. I am planning to call CIC this week for an update, but it seems the security will only change its status when it is completed.

As far as I know it is a system where they search candidate information for security checks. It is one of the steps in security check.

If that is correct, on the notes I ordered dated Oct 25 my PReVU was 'verified' already, which would mean my security had already started, even though the status states otherwise.
