Did any of you guys have upfront medicals without giving a UCI? My medical is already passed but based on other forums, there is a pattern for those who haven't received a UCI and haven't yet passed and those who do, have passed at an earlier date than those who haven't.

Upfront medical is always without a UCI. I think you are mixing up few things.

Regarding UCI:
1. If any one has visited Canada earlier in any capacity will have a UCI number which remains same for your PR application.
2. For first time applicants UCI is generated later on sometime after MEP.

There is no co-relation like you mentioned.

hi.
Any medicals passed on this forum? When was your AOR?

Here. AOR July 4, MP July 17.

Guys,

I went to see my lawyer and translator,

1. Got my marriage certificate translated. But he refused to give a separate affidavit for it stating that his translations are accepted for PR too o_Oo_O
- But he mentioned in the translations a wording that the translation is accurate and he is a competent translator to translate.
- this is not certified/ confirmed by a Notary Public
- Is this sufficient?

2. Do I need to have a certified copy of the original from the translator? I already have the original doc certified by the registrar of marriages. Is this sufficient?

Would really appreciate the help on this :)
