So my background check shows in progress today.
AOR: 14th July
Medicals passed: 1st Aug

Any idea how long the background check would take?

July people should start the new year with their visas in their passports if everything is in order with their applications.

If it's Ottawa then it's likely that you'll move to IP2 any day now.

Congratulations guys. You all are skipping June month as we all have moved to ip2 long back but no pprs apart from 2 in last 3 weeks. Hope so now they make way for us too.

i understand the situation of June AORs. it is indeed a long wait. But dont worry, I am pretty sure that the PPRs are on its way, hopefully in a couple of days.. Fingers crossed.. All the best and prayers for all those who are waiting for PPRs.

I feel that there is something fishy with the eligibility checks. I hope i get ADR or at least rejection with reason so i can resubmit again.

Congratulations for all those who got their awaited e-mail, but isn't you all see it is kinda sequential i mean those of the first week are getting their pprs? and some of the 1st and 2nd weeks moved to IP2?

I dont think it is sequential. AORs after July 7th under FSW-O have moved to IP2 and some have gotten PPR while some AORs before July 7th are still stuck in IP1.

Progress in application varies from VO to VO, people whose applications are being analysed other than Ottawa please don't loose heart as it will take 5 to 6 months for them to hear anything back from IRCC.

On average they take 4 months,there are exceptions though.

I used the web form on IRCC site to contact them and they replied some few days later with my Visa office and how to contact them directly.
