Sorry for the late response, I wasn't a regular visitor for this site because I heard nothing for quite long months (kind of disappointed). Now I'm back to tell that my status was updated yesterday saying that I should take the test Feb 15. Please update, Thanks
Can anyone help me, I need your advice. As mentioned above that I will take the test next month, we have a two-year child that we will have to take with us and my question is there any arrangement that we have to make before the test. I mean, we both have to take the test at the same time so do you think I need to contact them before I go. Thank you very much and wish you all a good luck!

Why are you bring your 2 year old? Only applicants over 14 yrs old are required for test and interview.
If you are talking about bringing your child because you can't find a sitter I will say try hard. Overall it will take around 2 to 3 hrs.

Find a babysitter. They won't let your child be a distraction to exam takers, if they even let them in to begin with. Make the arrangements, you have plenty of time.
Same here waiting for DM since the test Nov 29, Edmonton office. I think Ecas sometimes is not updated for all people. For me, even the test invite is not on Ecas yet. We have to wait and be patient.

Hi, we took our test in December last year. Our son was 9 months old at the time. We asked one of our friends to accompany us to the testing site. Our son stayed in stroller with our friend while we took our test. There was a waiting area outside the testing room for those waiting for the interview. Nobody raised any issues. If possible, find a friend. Otherwise, you'll have to leave your child in a day care for a few hours. You can't take your child with you in the testing room. That is strictly prohibited.

Thank you for your answer, my wife called a friend of hers and she said no worries and she will take the kids to school and keep the little one with her. We wanted to finish the whole thing without asking for help because people are busy with their lives but unfortunately it wasn't possible.

So some ceremonies finally scheduled for Regina: What a time for me. Falls into some trip plans and definitely will have to reschedule these trips, costing me at least $700....not a happy man....having done test since October and hoping this didn't happen....

@Joeeyes - I'm sure you'd just rather wear the lost costs associated with your trip to get your oath done, but if you don't mind waiting a bit longer you can always just call them to tell them about the dates that you'll be unavailable and you'll just go into the next batch of oath ceremonies.

You are right. I am weighing all the options, but I am certain I will eventually have to bear the extra costs, by cancelling my two trips and rebooking them. With the long wait in the Regina office being experienced now, the next oath ceremony may not be until late July.
And I anticipate to have some work related trips again during the summer. its an expensive and frustrating call for me but I have to do what I have to do.
