July 2017 Citizenship applicants

I live in Scarborough and got FP request from st. Clair and which got me thinking my file office will be there. However only later I came to know that they handle the FP and background check for GTA candidates.

Many of Toronto listed candidates are from Scarborough also. So yeah, it is kind of misleading. But I see many of May candidates are getting invite for test this week. So how can we complain!!

Yeah I stopped checking E-cas nowadays. I think floodgate of C6 applications have made it worse.

It will come when it is THE time.

C6 has completely flooded the Scarborough office, I think it will takes 2 years now to get our applications processed

What is our fault, we already waited additional 2 years to apply and they are still taking their extra time to process files.

Yes but once test begins they will ask you to turn it off and put aside along with all your belongings. You can use it at all other times.

No - just ECaS status changes to "decision made" and/or 5th line appears "we sent you a letter to take oath etc."

I have my test in December 1st week at 9 am in Hamilton. Wondering how long does it take to complete both test and interview. The reason I am asking is to confirm whether I could manage test and interview by taking half day leave from office. Any idea from Hamilton applicant who finished test recently? Please help.....

It all depends on the number of applicants on that day. But I think you should be fine. We were among the last few to be taken in and were done by about 12:30.

Same here. There were 4 oath ceremonies in Ottawa since I passed test yet I did not make it to any of them

In Edmonton the interview is right after the test and it was 1rst come 1rst serve. So if it is the same process as Hamilton ill say schedule 4hrs off.
They take 30-45 min to check ID and give instruction for the test and half of the people finish the test in less than 5 min.
