Same here, I don't understand! So many people in Montreal and they host only 2 ceremonies (the same day) in december

I saw there are two ceremonies now on Jan 10. I wonder if anyone in Montreal has received Oath invite..

Folks, I am on my way back from oath ceremony. It took about an hour or so. I brought all documents used in my application but they only asked a piece of ID, oath letter and they took away my PR card! So now I am officially stuck in Ottawa for holiday season. Now I am running to courrier my passport application to my guarantor for signing. They said to wait at least 2 business days before applying for passport and I ain't gonna wait a second more than that :-D will apply on wednesday if my package comes back on time!

The judge had a very soft voice and I could not hear anything at the back. So I missed all the emotional verses about becoming Canadian etc. But I am glad I have my certificate with no typos and now I am ready for the last battle on my way to freedom - passport!

Thank you my friend! I have to wait 2 business days after oath before applying, so the earliest I can apply on is Wednesday the 20th. Today my guarantor mailed me signed application so as soon as it arrives I will run to passport office! And they can think of me whatever they please haha I ain't gonna wait a minute more.

I asked if I could apply for urgent process in Montreal and got a message that I need to submit supporting as to why I need urgent process, which I did not submit. Now I wonder if my process will be delayed because I asked for urgent process and did not send any supporting..

I do not believe so. The officer may ask what you do now during the interview, but I do not think unemployed relates to the requirement of being a citizen.

August in process
Oct 27 test invite
Nov 2 test
DM first half of Nov (I can't remember the exact date)
