Does getting an AOR at least guarantee that our application will not be returned asking for something?

No. When I read the AOR it says u will be contacted if any other documents are required.
RQ is usually requested after the interview.

Getting AOR guarantees that your application wasn't lost on the way and will be reviewed; also it confirms that after quick and preliminary check the required documents and signatures are on the place. It doesn't and can't guarantee though the file won't be returned in future. That may happen even a second before the Oath of Citizenship because of any reason.

I have my (family) application delivered to CPC Sydney on June 30 by FedEx. Already 26 days but still no AOR. Is that normal. Any body in the same boat? please share.

I read somewhere that Family application get AOR later as compared to single application. But we never know how these guys work. .....

Thank you very much abhihappy, do you think that the province or the city where the applicant resides has and any influence on that delay, because I noticed that most of the AOR received recently were either in Ontario or Alberta. I don't know to which extent this is true but at least the cases that saw here made me have this thought.
