Hello Kevin,
What documents did they ask you to bring along with you, on the test day?
Do they ask for the recent passport only ? OR do they ask for all passports you have had in your life.
I am asking this question because I only have the passport in which I landed, the ones before are not with me here in Canada.
Thanks,

They asked for 2 valid photo IDs, your PR card and any passport you had 6 years prior to your application.
You'll have to bring all passports and/or travel documents (valid and cancelled) for the six (6) year period immediately before the date of your application, or since you became a permanent resident, whichever is more recent.

Thanks,
I landed (with a PR visa) in July 2012 with a passport that was issued in May 2011 (it now covers 5+ years, but less than 6).
Do I still have to show the previous passport; the one that has nothing to do with PR visa,,, with landing, with Canada at all? I have left that passport back home and is not with me any more.
If I understood you correctly, they care about passports since you became PR (to be able to check your in/out) journeys, am I right?
Thanks,

Yes they double check your declared entry/exit records listed in your Physical Presence calculator with your passports.
Your passport issued on May 2011 plus all new passports should be good enough even if its less than 6 years.
