How do you know which visa office is processing the application? I sent my application to Sydney, which is suggested by the pnp letter

All the PNP applications should mail to Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia (Canada) for CIC part. If your case begins to process, your case will transfer to Case Processing Centre: Ottawa, Ontario. You will get infor from CPPO.

Hi, Why is that? just cause we applicants dont get file numbers from CIC? You maybe right, but we just want to share timeline to help others not to become hot

Thanks! Yes, they haven't given me support letter from Ontario PNP. My only hope is to wait for AoR and then apply for BOWP for me and Open Work permit extension for my wife in a single application.

The problem is Sept 1st week my work permit expires. Mostly I wont receive AoR within that. I have to send a paper application (to buy time) for BWOP and Open work permit extension for both of us right before the expiry of my work permit. So my only hope is when they are processing my work permit, CACS should change "met" in positive assessment online.

Yes, you can apply a paper application for BOWP online. After you submit your application, you and your wife can still work in Canada. and after you got AOR from CIC, you can go to the bridge to apply for BOWP again by person and cancel your first paper application. Good luck to you!

Thanks again. I'm not aware of the flag polling. Are you sure I can apply in the bridge for BOWP and cancel my first application in person? say if I go to niagara / us border? Do you know anyone who did it that way?

You can apply for BOWP by the end of your work permit expired, and wait for AOR, after you got AOR, you can update your situation for the BOWP application. You can also cancel it and make a new application to the bridge when you get AOR, but it isnt necessary. Just update your AOR during your application for BOWP. You can still work during the time you apply for BOWP. It is legal. It is called Implied Status.

Hi guys,
I'm gathering documents for my CIC application and not sure if I have to fill out and submit these forms.

1. Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM0008DEP)
2. Schedule 4A (IMM0008 Schedule 4A)
3. Separation Declaration for Minors Travelling to Canada (IMM5604)
4. Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union (IMM5409)
5. Use of Representative (IMM5476)

I'm Single and has no dependant moving to Canada. I'm also not using a representative for my application.

Very appreciate your advise.
