HI morena34, First of all conflagrations! Do you have any idea when your security check started. That's the step we are all stuck in. I was told mine was started in January 4th.

I would say early Dec. ! MyCIC wasn't showing that "In Process" status for my background check in Nov. 2016

No news , still waiting, its very painful period to wait so long.
I call CIC many times, but on tuesday I receive an email from CIC which stated that

Application is awaiting review by an officer.

Notification will be sent in due course.

I dont know , may be my security check is completed and file is awaiting to review by an office, hope for the good.

But I think there are many guys from June still waiting for PPR.

That's really strange. Your medical is about to expire in two months abd still no ppr . And I thought only my visa office is lazy :-X

They are probably processing an extension of medical. That's what happened to me

Your application is around 3 weeks behind mine. I got my PPR last week so be patient.

AMYKH DID U CALL AND ASKED WHY YOUR APPLICATION IS DELAYED BECAUSE EVEN IM WAITING FOR MY PPR .IM NOVEMBER 2015 APPLICANT .CALLED CIC NUMBER OF TIMES THEY SAID GOOD NEW IS BACKGROUND CHECK IS DONE AND SECURITY IS DONE AND WAITING FOR FINAL REVIEW .I DONT KNOW IF EVERYTHING IS DONE WHY ARE THEY MAKING US WAIT

what they mean by case number is the same of file number or Client ID Number??please advice my friend ?

I think the case number is Application Number (file number) but I advice your to send your complete detail, for Example ( Name, Date of Birth, Application Number and UCI number).
