Mailed Date for CIC : July 15, 2014
Received Date for CIC : July 16, 2014
AOR/FN : Waiting...
Received OPNP: Jul 15, 2015
PNP nomination type: Master Pilot (no job offer)
Received PNP PR package by CIC: Jul 22, 2015 (today)
My work permit expires in 1.5 months.
BWOP requires AOR but I may not get it on time before my work permit expires.
I think, I should apply for BWOP in paper format (to buy time) just before my expiry date, so I can continue to work. Can someone please help me out?

Hi, from June 20,2015, OINP no longer has the authority to issue support letters for open work permits. Because you got the nomination on July 15, I dont think you can get the support letter. But you can apply for BOWP not only in paper but also in person. You can have a try to go to the bridge in person to apply for BOWP. I know someone successfully got BOWP in June. Good luck to you.

In general, police certificates take about 2 or 3 weeks to get the report. I think you could receive the report by this month. Good luck and let us know the updates.

Hi, do you know what is the status of him, if he has a valid status on a work permit, he can go for BOWP. He can also apply if his spouse has a valid status on a study permit or work permit. He cant apply for BOWP if he is only a visitor of Canada.
