I have received my PPR emai finally 1 month after my medical was done.
I have sent my passport and email copy of PPR to the following address today:
CPC – Ottawa
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9
via CanadaPost express post. They have direct PO Box number in their address.
No suite, street, no lane etc... I was bit scared sending my passport to above address but its insturction from CIC.
All the best for rest of the candidate who are still waiting.

"You can enter Canada by land with CoPR attached to your passport. You need PR card to enter Canada by air". I believe that was what CBSA Officer told you during landing process.

wow amazing, I can see from your timeline 4 days difference between visa issued and passport sent date?
it includes, they received your passport, stamped visa, send it back to you woth COPR.

But, if it's on land and on a bus, a travelling document is needed. Yes, if a personal car is used then there is no need for anything other than a COPR in the passport.

No, I live in GTA. I sent passports on Friday, they were delivered to CIC on Monday and Monday is date printed on Immigrant visas as well. Then I've received passports back on Thursday

I believe they should let you in anyway as you are already Permanent Resident. IIRC, it is not an option for CBSA Officer not to let you in. Theoretically, you can "walk" to you home from land border and there is no law that "prohibit" you from doing it...
Hi all,
I am planning to send new reference letters to CIC. My question is should they have the same job responsibilities or can I add few more to the existing one....I understand there has to be some similarity between the old and new letters.
Second point is regarding my salary, the amount shown in the new T4 and NoA is more than the amount shown on the reference letters....some 8K more...which was given to me as bonus........so is it fine if I mention my original salary+bonus.
Something like, "His salary was $XX,XXX+ bonus in my new reference letter....

Hi friends,
I am applying under NOC 2171 as a QA Analyst. I will be really grateful if someone who has applied under similar job title and succeeded share their job responsibilities. Please send me a PM...I wish everyone good luck
