Does CIC send out confirmation mails when they receive additional documents that they requested?
I received Police certificate request, so i applied to police station in my home country. The original certificate was sent by registered mail on 19th March, but haven't received any confirmation from CIC yet.
I also paid my RPRF fee, and mailed the electronic receipt, no confirmation also.

I sent a mail to CIC asking them if my additional doc has been applied to my application and they replied back with confirmation.

Medicals submitted on 27th March. No further updates on ECAS status. :-[ :'( :-[

1.We received your application for permanent residence on August 2, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on March 11, 2014.

Yes, I am waiting, MR done on 20th March but neither RPRF nor Biodata…so we are few Jul applicants here still waiting…..hopefully will get it soon

Ecas still shows in process and I sent an email out to CIC and received no response!

Hello All,

I know i am late, but here are my updates

Received Passports back on 02-Apr and landed on same day
Drove down to Rainbow bridge office by car and went to US Border by Car. Border officials although in a hurry there wasnt a rush. Asked to wait in the car for about 5 mins and an officer returned with a our names written on a piece of paper cross marked by FLAG POLE and administrative refusal checked.

The same officer opened the gates to Canada asking us to leave US and showed our way back to Canada and we had to pay 3.50 cents for the toll to use the bridge.

An inviting CBSA-AFSC asked for documents verified and attached a yellow machine printed sheet to the docs and asked to park the car and enter the building to complete the formalities.

There was no one in the building except me, my spouse and a few border office officials. It took about 15 mins to complete the formalities and we were done with the landing at about 07:40 Evening

Entered US border at 07:00 and came out as a PR at 07:40 PM.

WOW, this is strange!

Even my ecas is still showing "in process" and it has been a while since I did my medicals.

Just landed about 3 hours ago at Point Roberts. I decided to walk back from Point Roberts to Tsawwassen ferry terminal, I'll never make that mistake ever again....

There were a few other people landing too, but it was fairly quiet and quick, if anyone is thinking of landing there.
