hey, I am from a visa exempt country and I got my CoPR in 4 days from decision made status.
Aha OK, thanks.
I'm on the west coast.
...and I'm also cheering for all of you who haven't get the barrage of CIC emails yet. Do not be disheartened ...you have sent your applications and officers are reviewing them, you'll get responses, maybe office need some more additional info. There are some people from like April, May who haven't received nothing yet. But I'm sure that kind of correspondence suck.
(still fingers crossed)

Hi all, today I completed my landing at Niagara Falls ...and I am now a Canadian PR!!! Can someone update the sheet?
My experience:
- It was fast and simple. I completed my ESTA for the USA yesterday
- Today I walked over the bridge to the USA.
- I actually entered the USA after paying $6 for the 90 day visitor visa waiver permit
- After a celebration beer I then walked back over the bridge to Canada and completed my landing
- I had to wait for 1.5 hours to complete it as there was quite a line up, but that was not bad
- Visa officer asked my phone number, address, ensured I knew the Residency obligations, ensured I knew to change my SIN then they sent me on my way.
- I then hit the casino for an hour or two to celebrate ... left even.
Good luck to everyone. If you have any questions let me know I will be happy to help where I can.
Congrats on becoming PR!

Thanks htrak, CEC_NLD, horvathc and razerblade.
razerblade I told them I was completing my Canadian immigration. They asked me if I wanted to enter the states and then checked that I had all the documents, then let me in.

The visa waiver program allows citizens of participating countries to enter the US without applying for
a visa.

This is an electronic pre-authorization for entry into the US. It came into effect about 5 years ago, and in my opinion is a money grab by the US government.
In anycase here is a link to tell you more about it...
