Still waiting to hear something on my application . No MR request yet .

So the notes are almost 30 days old. A lot can happen in 30 days!! You'll get the MR soon.

I am wondering the same. I did the medical a week ago. Still waiting for the doctor to upload the result.
Anyone knows if we can make a landing appointment ahead of time?

As Tobi said, the status you received was old status. By now, it might be progressed a lot. Hence hang in there. I hope you will get MR this week or next. Good Luck!

Thats a good question. I was also wondering the same. Maybe we can get an appointment in advance if we they dont require some PR Visa number, or CoPR number (if it exists).

Can anyone elaborate on the appointment taking process?

I am a new bee to this thread.Can someone tell me the average processing time for CIC to process medicals Once the medicals are sent by doctor.

Also I am seeing the threads about changes in E-cas to "Medicals received". When does this happen and where can i see this. As of know it shows IN Process.

I got my passport request yesterday March 18, 2014. However my passport is at the TRV ottawa as my visa expired and i have to leave Canada to go to my sisters wedding. I am not sure when i will receive the passport. what do you guys suggest?

I submitted the request on 17th Feb and received yesterday . You will be getting by tomorrow or day after .

I did my medicals on March 6th but doctor still haven't uploaded it yet (13 days later). Says they had some kind of issue with getting data from labs etc..
I'm really "lucky"

I got my medicals done Feb 27th and doctors didn't upload until March 12. Although i had to get an extra liver test done, which is probably why it took so long. Apparently you have to get liver test if you have tattoos.

Still no update on ECAS, nor PPR.
