i applied on July 8th and still have not received medicals. someone please guide and give me suggestions im really upset and loosing patience :'( the wait has started affecting my personal life now

Have you checked your spam/junk folder?

If it's not there I guess the only thing is to be patient, it's just a waiting game. You could apply for gcms notes or do your medical ahead of time?

Guys...Received my passport request..Here is my timeline

Application Received : 17th July 2013
Medical Requested : 3rd March 2014
RPRF Request : 4th March 2014
Medical Done: 5th March 2014
Medical Received: 10th March 2014
PPR : 17th March 2014


I had a question, On my file mailing address is Law firm address. Now when I send pre-envelope mailing address delivery to my Home address ..Will there be any problem..?

Congrats, your information is added to the July sheet. As far as the address on the pre paid envelope is concerned, even I would like to know if we can use our address instead of our lawyer's address. Guys please advise.

I have seen somewhere in this forum we can give any address(in NA only) in return envelop.

That's not an issue. You can give any address as per your convenience. Because I had given office address instead of my home address and I received my passport back successfully yesterday. CIC is not concerned about the address. Best wishes for everyone waiting. Lets hope for the best...

I am in the same boat as you. My doctor said that he would upload results in 08 business days. It should be somewhere in the last week. Still it doesn't show in my ecase. Hope we'll see it online soon.

I guess its not a problem, however My Lawyer wrote a letter to CIC mentioning the same and I have attached the same letter with my passport request and sent my passport to Ottawa

The Letter states "Applicant wants his passport to deliver to his Residence, instead My Address(Lawyers Address) and we both signed on that". Again the letter contains all our info like my UCI,name, address, Application no, lawyers details etc etc...

Consult your Lawyer and advise her how to proceed, and incase you need a draft let me know..

My lawyer informed him that flag poling is no longer an option and that he will need to take appointment with local CIC for landing
I am thinking of getting US visitor visa, crossing the border and reentering Canada for landing. I have a valid work permit till Sept 2015, however my TRV (on my passport) has expired, will it cause problems when I am entering Canada. Pls advise
