A lot of beginning to mid-July applicants, including me haven't received the MR yet. July is far from over.

Should I apply for a BOWP ? I have received MR on 27th Feb, My WP expires 14th Aug 2014. I was reading other forums and pakistani passport holders have a 2-3 month longer wait time and this concerns me as I have a Pakistani Passport

I would wait till mid of April, you still have time hopefully you will defiantly get something by than.

Yeah, I agree, it's better to wait. For BOWP your WP should expire within 4 months: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2013/ob485A.asp

I did not send my medicals with the application, I completed medicals last month so about one month before the MR email was received. I do not think we should repeat the medicals, prob'ly its automated email with MR- but we need some confirmation that CIC acknowledged the upfront medicals? Does your Ecas reflect this?

My ecas is silent on this. It just says in process. Nothing else.
I too think that the email was automatic. I got my MR email at exactly 11:00 PM EST in night. Looks like a batch job or something (idea courtsey razorblade). I am still waiting for a reply from CIC. Have you sent a mail to them? I will tell you when I get a reply.

Guys I just received my mr at 8:15 pm. For me and my wife. I'm the principal applicant. Application received july25,2013. Hang on guys! You will get it in no time!

I have 1 question. They send me this medical instruction. And a form that says MEDICAL REPORT CLIENT BIODATA AND SUMMARY. is this the so called BIODATA??? or they are going to send other BIODATA form with rprf request?
