Trying to book my medical in Calgary and everywhere here in Alberta seen to be booking 4-5 weeks out. Is it the same in other provinces? I see other people doing their medicals 5 days to a week after getting MR. One place was even booking into June! I am assuming you have to stick to the CIC physicians on their site...
The guy I booked with only took appointments on a Friday afternoon, I guess with the speeding up of applications being processed could make medicals kinda crazy.
Hi,
I'm new to this website/thread. Feel free to add my timeline:
- Application Received: 03 July 2013
- AOR: 28 Aug 2013
- MR: 20 Feb 2014
- Request for Other Info: 21 Feb 2014 (this is for my Police Clearance)
- Bio-Data and RPRF email: 21 Feb 2014
- NOC 1112
Now, before the MR email, I got a call from the Officer asking to confirm a couple of things (e.g. how long I was in the US last year; if I was still enrolled at NU; if I was still with my employer - the one in my closed permit).

Hi Johnkae,
I was looking at Calagary clinics as most of my friends went there and almost $200 cheaper for the 3 of us but I think the gas andthe hotel for the overnight stay will be the same if well do it in edmonton.
btw dr.salopek was also refered by my friends in edmonton and I am scheduled on march 4 already and it's $400 each all in with lab and xray.
thanks
I just book my app for march 21st at heritage (same as DR Salopek), but I went in person to the medicentre after a week of trying to book by phone without success. Also tried to book at the dominion centre, but they have an answer machine where you leave your phone and number and they are supposed to call you back... I called them on Feb 18th...still waiting to hear from them
