Hey guys, I'm happy for everyone here getting their MR and RPRF emails my self included. Now I'm/we are interested how long does it take to get the exam results and cost approximately, in Canada. I found a thread where guy payed $215(medical exam) plus $260(x-ray) = $475 (plus taxes I guess). Didn't mention if this was in Canada. Basically, if someone can post how much and how long.
And another one, since I don't have my credit card to pay online for RPRF, can my father do it for me?
thank you all and best of luck getting that PR a.s.a.p.
I had medical examination in Ottawa. they charged me $200(Doctor Fee) + $8 (blood test) + $ 50 (for x-ray). total was $258. Generally its different from place to place and/or doctor to doctor.
I don't see any problem paying RPRF by using your father/friend's valid credit card.
All, I need your help!!! I am July 12 applicant and my visa expires on mar 31st.
I have a valid work permit expiring dec 2015. My sister is getting married in the USA and I am apart of the bridal party. I have all the documents to renew my visa however I am following the trend and I think I may get MR this week. Do I need a passport to do the medical or I can use another ID? Can I get back into Canada with a valid work permit and expired visa? I was told that I could via driving not plane. I do not believe I can so I am asking for your advise?
Okay guys, looks like the owners of the sheet are in hibernation . So I took the liberty to create a new one by copying the information from the old one. The link to the new sheet is in my signature below. I have updated all the information that users have been posting about medical requests and rprf/bio data. I have added new users as well to the sheet.
Please send me a private message with your gmail id if you would like edit access to the sheet.

on my MR email attachment instruction it says to bring:
"Proper identification (proof of identity must include at least one government-issued document
with photograph and signature, such as a passport or national identity card)"
also i am not sure about getting back to canada with valid work permit but expired visa....you are very close to get a MR and your PR which is a sensitive and important matter i am guessing....wouldnt take any chance but be patience
