Wow, that was fast. I am waiting for my RPRF so that I can apply for OHIP and save some money. And also show it to my school and save some tuition fee.
I wonder if it always comes this fast!
My school will be fine if I show them that I have apssed the interview stage. So, somebody has any idea at what stage interviews are normally conducted? i.e. before MR, after MR and before RPRF, or before something else. I tried to google it but couldn't find any definite process chart. Much appreciate if sombody can share a link or information on general process.
Just thought I'd add for anyone who got the email asking for PCC (The same generic one most July applicants have been getting about submitting the PCC, or disregard if already done so).
Application received by CIC: July 9th
AOR Received: September 5th.
Medical Requests recieved: Feb 21st (7:40pm)
I'm still wondering about the PCC, considering I submitted it with my original application and it was not outdated, but MR is a good sign.
Hey guys, I'm happy for everyone here getting their MR and RPRF emails my self included. Now I'm/we are interested how long does it take to get the exam results and cost approximately, in Canada. I found a thread where guy payed $215(medical exam) plus $260(x-ray) = $475 (plus taxes I guess). Didn't mention if this was in Canada. Basically, if someone can post how much and how long.
And another one, since I don't have my credit card to pay online for RPRF, can my father do it for me?
thank you all and best of luck getting that PR a.s.a.p.
Tedi, read the link below. Esp the last few posts. Though it is a bit dated (2012), the guys paid $150-$200 for MR in Canada.
I dont think you will have to pay more than that. I suggest you call all the DMPs in your city and get the information before making the final trip.
But $200 - $300 seems reasonable. Thanks koolpaari.
ALSO: Do we need 5 photos for medical exam?
"from: mitamata
Usually you need 5 photos for the medical exam. The checklist doesn't mention this, they only mention the photos that you have to send in with your application, which doesn't include those needed for the medical exam.
The DMP should've given you something - you should get the IMM 1017 form for every person who underwent the medical exam. Call them and ask for it."
