This is regarding your application for permanent residence in Canada which is now in queue to be reviewed by a visa officer. Please note that you must submit original police certificates for you and any accompanying dependents for all countries where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18.
If you are currently in possession of any police certificates, which were not submitted with your original application, please submit them to our office now.
If you have already submitted your police certificates, do not apply for or submit new documents. We will contact you once your application has been reviewed by a visa officer.
If you are in the process of obtaining the required documents and have not yet received them, submit them to our office as soon as they are available.
I received above email at 17:46 today. I already submitted PCC from my country of origin when I submitted my documents. Should I reply back to the email? Please reply...
So all of us got a PCC request. Thats strange considering that only a handful of applicants from May and June got this request! I really think this is a bug in the system.
I have two questions:
1. In my mail, the word 'original' (in the first para: Please note that you must submit original police certificates for you) was in italics. Was it same for everyone, or this is a way of telling us that they want original copy?
2. Does asking for a PCC mean our processing will get delayed?
I submitted a certificate along with my application. It clearly stated that the certificate is valid for 5 yeaes. Have no idea why they asked again!
Let's not fret about it, the email clearly says, if we haven't provided here is a chance to provide them the required PCC, if you have sent a valid one either during your initial application package or after you received your AOR, its good and not necessary to provide a new one.
The applications are in queue for processing, which eventually will be processed over the remaining of the week and subsequently next week. Lets hope all the applicants receive MR hence forth.
Congrats July team for receiving your MR's and good to see that CIC is progressing so fast.. Can you guys also update your July sheet as it doesn't reflect whom have got MR so far and it will be good for other forum member also to get to know about the success rate.
I have received a mail today morning stating pcc request. I had submitted orginal pccs from india along with application. But i havent submitted pcc for Canada, becuase it was not necessary at tht time.
Well looks like this is a reminder mail for PCC, just in case you haven't submitted and something the CEC has recently started. Almost everybody is getting this mail who has submitted their application after 10 July 2013 or so and they are actually the ones who are next in line to get MRs.
So if this is not a bug then this email is an indication that your application is about to get processed !
