Same here. I applied on December 13 and I haven't seen anything yet. When I applied last time, I requested it to be emailed but I came through regular mail. So watch you mailbax as well.
I am not able to check status of application which I checked two months ago nearby End of November .do you know why this happen or any other way to check status ?
Yes Definitely. If your application is not proper or some data you have provided is not correct its possible to get rejection. There can be many other reasons too. But applications that have gone to CIC after Nov 9 seem to have gone through more scrutiny and rejection chances due to issues in the forms or missing documents should be less.
One more question, I have to send my PCC from Canada and back home, could you kindly advise me what the address is to send to. Secondly does emailing documents to Case processing pilot makes a difference ? thirdly on a brighter note I know some one who sent her app in may and she got her MR. I think we should start hearing back end of Feb or March.
I know some July applicants have posed saying that they have applied for GCMS notes in December and have still yet to receive them. Any update?
On another note on GCMS notes, people who previously were posting them were saying that theirs were generated at the end of the 30 day spectrum instead of the start when they are first requested and being 30 days old when you receive them. Is this the case or has it gone back to the notes being 30 days old when people receive them?
RCMP request is usually the first step the visa officer does when he starts looking at your file. Basically, he/she will type your name into the RCMP database to see if there is any information against it. If your name a popular name, they send you a RCMP request to get your fingerprints taken to identify exactly who you are and to ensure you have no crimes committed in Canada. Not everyone gets RCMP request.
I believe RCMP request is around 1 to 2 months before medical request.
