Guys, for July 2013 applicants, what is the best time to apply for GCMS notes to know whats going on? I am just wondering, is there any way to know that application is going on positive side or other by knowing initial notes...(i am 100% sure that all is well in my app) Please don't sweat out any one since i am just speculating...just for discussion, Thanx
Criminality will likely be in process
Security will never have anything against it that you can see during your application
Medicals aren't started until later
The only thing worth looking at in GCMS is eligibility - be aware that my file appeared to be looked at for no longer than an hour. Vo's don't pick up and do a bit of processing then start another file, your file is either looked at and processed or it's not.
Therefore I recommend applying around when the first medical requests start coming through for your month's group - otherwise it's really a waste of time (unless you want to check PCC receipt or something).
I honestly wish i had this info as the two times I applied for GCMS were a complete waste of time. The 3rd time was better as it was the day after my file was looked at
Quick question. Got AOR a while back, renewed the WP which was due to expire with a BWOP and it all came through in time. My temp. resident visa (TRV) expired couple of months back but I haven't left the country and don't intend to either. Except, I may need to make a trip to the US sometime. I am going to apply for a TRV this weekend.
However, does anyone know whether I necessarily need a TRV just to cross the US-CAN border and get back into the country? Or it can be done with just a valid WP. I do have a valid US visa.
