Just checked the processing times for CEC applications, it is increased from 12 months to 13 months. Nothing to worry much because the timeline for this is during the period (Oct 2012 - Sep 2013) when the officials were on strike.
I was expecting that it would be much more than just a one month increase but seems not too bad.
Hopefully next quarter this will come down to 12 or even less months.

APPLICATION STATUS URGENT

Hi Friends,

I have received my AOR on September 9th, applied for CEC PR on July 8th.

But till date I am not able to log in successfully to E CAS to check my application process!

Can you please help me out and suggest me how to do it, probably I am doing it wrong way or missing something.

Try all last names you've ever used and provided CIC in your forms. Also check and try different countries. For example there's two entries for Germany in that list. Also, applicants from ireland and scotland can also try UK as the country.

I have tried everything as you mentioned but no good.

From within Canada you can call the CIC hotline and ask them to look into that for you.

I have a situation here; I haven't received my AOR yet. They received my app on July 5th, 2013. What to do/expect?

I have submitted all data required and paid with some form (don't know the right code now, sorry) sent by mail.

Yes I did. That's how I know CIC got my application on July 5th. But then I saw spreadsheet here and... like, everyone get their AOR. What is it? A letter? My Canadian address on E-CAS is right. I used my client ID number to login.

AOR is received via email, in case you provided CIC with a valid email address on your IMM 0008 form. If you have a
typo in that field, you will never get the AOR.
If you don't put an email address in that field, CIC will mail your the AOR to your mailing address.
