Hey Nikkit, i got my COPR after almost 2 months. So you should be receiving soon. I am planning to go to my home country for couple of months and stay there for sometime. This PR process has burnt me alot so need some time off now. I am still waiting for my PR card and i heard that it taking upto 71 days to get this. I am not going to wait for my pr card, i will get transit visa document from my country to enter Canada
omg that is so long! thank you for answering though!
i am worried, because my PGWP expired in june, and i was rejected for BOWP (applied wrongly), so now i am not sure what to do while waiting.. and whether i have to leave in september??? (applying for restoration takes 5 months so.........)
Yes, i have checked with CIC and its fairly easy process. If you want to travel to your country and dont have PR card yet, apply for travel document (2 forms) at Canadian consulate in your country. Fees to apply for this document is $50 and its one time visa to enter Canada, just like Student/Work visa.

No problem. And about the travel document, usually you only need that if you are OUTSIDE of Canada,
have lost proof of PR and need to return to Canada.

I got PPR on July 30 (Tue)..12 months after application date. This was 3 days after my eCAS status changed to Medicals received.
Passports were sent and received at Ottawa today. (Aug 2)
Hoping to get the COPR soon. From other posts it seems like 20 days wait at least, but some cases indicate a 50-60 day wait..
