My passport is expiring in Sept 2013, do you guys know that could create problem for my pr?. By the way i am going to do medicals tomorrow.

You will need to land before your passport expires. Given you are doing MR tomorrow, and adding 2-3 month for subsequent PPR/visa, you should be fine.

congrats buddy! Wow, CIC has really started working since changing the medical threshold policy and getting new quota!

And as PMM mentioned the CIC annual immigration visa quota runs from April to April rather then Jan to Jan.

To make it simple: when new policy is being made - things tend to slow down. Now when it is implemented and fresh annual quota allocated things are speeding up.

MR Received - 5 April

Question - Does MR mean work experience eligibility passed ?

Thanks for your response Sashali78. I guess i should be fine then as my passport is expiring in sept and hopefully i will get my pr before this time. My medical was smooth yesterday and doctor should be sending reports within 2 weeks.
