IrishinCanada - which address you sent your application to? I mean the PO box one or the courier address?

My application was returned on July 13 due to a missing form (exactly 3 weeks after my first submission) I sent it back to Sydney and it was received on July 19. My bank draft isn't cashed yet. Anyone else waiting for the fee payment to be cleared? I see some July applicants already received AORs, but I guess they must take the money first?
Has your money order cashed? I checked mine.. not cashed yet, my application was receieved on july 26th. I guess money order application has slow processing trend.
Happy news for me as well! Got the email with a confirmation of the payment Clarence and the Exxxxxx number. Is this E0000xxxxx number the AOR?

CIC is on a streak!
I got my credit card charged today.
Application received on July 30. 18 days!
One major concern.
My credit card company just upgraded my card and the card I used on the application will not be valid in another 10 days.
Does it matter? Do I have to give them a new credit card number?
Does CIC use the same credit card details for other future charges? Or was the authorization only for the initial fees ($550)?

you are good to go, they have their money. you signed the autorization to allow them to charge your CC for the amount of $550. for other fees I think you will have to pay by money order($490 of RPFF). and I think you are lucky that they charged you now cuz if that credit card de-activated by your bank that would have been an unfortunate mess.
congrats Ionag, and thanks for having shared the letter with us

Hello All,
I wrote that my requested visa office is Buffalo, USA. However, I heard that Buffalo office is now closed and the visa is processed by Ottawa (CPP-O) office. Now, my question is whether my PR application will be transferred to Ottawa automatically? My CC was charged on August 14. Please help, and let me know the answer.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Yes..it will go to CPP-O.
people on other threads are saying their AORs take 3 months and they come from CPP-O.. Ours come in one month and they come from Sydney CIO..
do you think they changed the system where CIO issues AOR and then forward to CPP-O directly for processing instead of more completion reviews?
*ps who's gonna update our list?
Congrats to those who got it in the last few days. I am updating the list below.

Thanks Rosty for the reply.
I am glad for the timing too, I could have imagined the mess I was in if there was some more delay.
I see you are still waiting for AOR, despite being a June applicant.
There appears to be a switch from July applications that drives out faster AORs from CIO-NS.
I am sure the application timelines will get rationalised at CPP-O. (with first applied first served, which is fair)
