So following to your answer.. was there different NOC codes for the answer 1 and 2

I had 2 choices here
1. Either put the same title as my WP for the NOC code in my application & submit a reference letter that does not match that title.
2. Title (& NOC) in my application will be different than my WP, but my reference letter (& many other documentation I provided) will support that I actually performed the role.

Lets use some fake data. Cheryl is completing an intra company transfer to take over the Canadian division of a beauty company.

Cheryl's title: CEO

It is deemed that Cheryl's job duties best match NOC 0999 (title beauty therapy manager)

When she is completing her CEC application, she puts down her title as CEO. In her ref. letter, her title is mentioned as CEO. When asked for the NOC, she puts down 0999 - even though the title is beauty therapy manager - she was on a closed work permit and this NOC is associated with her permit and her duties match.

This is what should happen.

No. It shows the offical noc title (which is normal on all work permits) and shows my company title in notes.

Not much you can do. If you are on a closed work permit you need to stick with the NOC of the permit - it's not an option.

Agree, on closed work permit you need to stick with the NOC of the permit. However, depends upon individual case if it is LMO approved then for 100% you can’t change NOC but what about intra company transfer? There are cases where peoples got the WP as weird Titles/Occupation/NOC and their jobs and responsibilities does not match to Titles/Occupation/NOC which is on WP, It matches to different Titles/Occupation/NOC
