It generally takes several months for an employer to get an approved LMIA.

How is the job offer LMIA exempted?

I know but how does your job offer meet the LMIA exemption - inter company transfer, post doc researcher, trade act like USCMA?
Actually I'm not yet sure since my employer is not yet replying as to my request for LMIA or offer of employment no. They just provided me with contract agreement

I don’t think your job is LMIA exempt. It is only for certain circumstances as stated above. What is the NOC?

I see..it's Level A
That is not a NOC. The link you provided gives definitions for LMIA exemption for an employer. Do you fit in any of these categories? Has the employer even filed for the LMIA? You can’t file for a closed work permit until you have a LMIA.

I'm actually currently bothered since they might decline the job offer due to ths

Financial auditor/accountant--I see but I think I don't fit in any of those categories so probably not LMIA exempted. As to the employer filing LMIA I'm just not so sure since they haven't replied yet on my e-mail asking for the status for over a week now. Do you think they will still push through with the job offer? I just need to wait as of this time?

You are not LMIA exempt. Employer has to prove no Canadian or PR can do the job to file a LMIA. A job offer means nothing without a LMIA.
