Here are the questions that I am confusing:
1. Has X applied to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada before? - I answered YES since I applied study permit and work permit before
2. Has X applied to Canada Permanent Resident? - The answer automatically is given YES with Profile Number. I don`t know why because this is the first time I applied PR in Canada. Should I change it to NO?
The first question may be more relevant to PR because it is not clearly mentioned for WP or Study Permit.
Do you think we need to select Yes for the first question even though we have applied for work permit or study permit before?
Do you know an e-mail address that we can ask our questions about the application form? I am not in Canada and the number they provide can only be called from within Canada.
My friend was arrested by police for buying the bike from the shop that was stolen and he was not aware of it. He was discharged after 4 hours investigation and no charges or record from police, should he answer YES or NO for the following questions:
1. Has X ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?
2. Has X been detained, incarcerated, or put in jail?

Affidavit's content :- Person with name XXX (mentioned in academic credentials) and XXX + surname ( mentioned in passport) is same.

There should be a separate place to upload this in your document checklist, provided you declared the usage of the old name in the personal details form.
We did the same and got a separate entry in the personalized document checklist.

But here nothing is like old and new name. In my case only my passport has surname mentioned in it and all other documents are with first Name. So with affidavit I want to show CIC officer that person is same and Both names are in use. I hope you had the same case ?
I'm moving to Canada on Feb 5 (work permit for one year).
Should I provide my current address (home country) or is it best submit from Canada after the 5th? Or submit it now and update my home address (if thats possible).
I've read somewhere that the assigned office is based on you country /place of residence.
