Hey everyone, wanna share an observation here: I'm noticing a surge in the number of LPPs getting completed, what's interesting to me is that I checked 4 corresponding timelines and saw exactly 119-120 days between the date citizenship test was taken and the LPP given. I'm wondering if there's a 120 days deadline for officers to get the LPPs reviewed, I know this may sound naive but it may actually be true. I myself am on my 115th day since test and waiting for the LPP .. so let's see
Hey there, I don't think that they really apply any deadlines on their immigration officers, but I think that 4 - 6 months is the goal for IRCC to process most routine applications who've finished their Tests.
GTA offices are averaging approx 4 months from Test to LPP. This is totally subjective to how long one had to wait for their test in the first place. Don't worry, it should be soon!
Hi all, I applied is Jan 2023, my background was passed in Apr 12th, and my wife's background passed May 11th (after she did FP) . My children (aged 13 & 11) still have their background In Progress. Is that normal? Our LPP is still in progress, but is it normal for the BG for my kids to be In progress?
That’s really interesting. I had also noticed that there has been a surge of people getting their LPP/oath completed are people that completed their test back in March. Keep us posted on your results
2 to 4 weeks is what the current trend is, but with IRCC, it's never a set pattern. Congratulations nonetheless, now it's not that long to the finish line!

I am aware about the French meaning, and it makes sense since he has been asked to provide flight tickets for all his travels outside Canada. What I am concerned about is the category, which is 'Attribution'. I do not know what it means and never came across a case before that has this category. It would be great help if someone could reflect on what it means (or may mean).
Hi everyone, i have a question regarding name update. In my current passport I have my maiden name. However in my citizenship application I requested to update my name to include my husbands last name, what will my citizenship certificate show? My maiden name or the one I request? Also how to get the Canadian passport with my husbands last name?
Hey, this is tricky but I would say it will require an official name change for which there is a different process. Read here and then plan https://www.ontario.ca/page/change-name You will need to update your name on all your Govt ids and doc.
