I applied for Citizenship in January 2023 as a family application (2 adults and 1 kid)

Currently: LPP is in progress since then and no update after that and my office is Mississauga, Ontario
Question #1) I am traveling 18th Nov 2023 and our PR cards have already expired 2 months ago, I am wondering should we apply for PR card renewal (3 month processing time) or we still have enough time to get Canadian passports in time for travel ?
Question #2)if I request urgent processing do you guys think they will entertain my request in this situation?
I have a feeling that your application will reach Decision soon. Passport request is always a good thing, and at least they have your file being worked on .. Plus, west coast is on fire!!

Q1. It's really never clear how soon your application will get approved and while there is a good chance that by Nov you and your family might have your Canadian passports, I would probably keep my PR card renewed for any unforeseen situations.
Q2. Urgent requests are normally defined under the IRCC website as jobs, medical or death of a family etc. You could always try, but I don't think it will help.
Hang in there, Mississauga office is on Snooze mode and should wake up any day!

I noticed an error on the country of residence (COR) on my recent GCMS notes; they put my country of nationality even though I've never lived there. I just sent a webform.
Do you think this is the reason behind the delay in my application?

Yes, I'm in the same situation. My security started on March 10th and it's still in process. FP received and criminality completed on Apr 18th.
unfortunately its going to be a bit of a wait. And yes CBSA notes will show when your security started. Its been 3 months and 20 days for me, as @Cpwr mentioned we might be looking at 6 months+

but I did already the test a week ago Ana show completed today on tracker and got the notes yesterday the IRCC asp it could be not updated for test , that is the IRCC abut I requested yesterday the cBSa , any where in the IRCC notes know the security status
