Hahah, I imagine the Immigration Office working from home, going through the application and documents, opening somebody's application and goes "Argh...boring..." closes application, presses "Save" just to mess up with the applicant
Another ghost update today (March 7)! Literally just dropped. Hopefully it's that they've received my fingerprints and are completing my background check.

I have a quick question, I submitted my application on Jan 9th, AOR Jan 24 and nothing after that until March 3rd when my BG was completed. So, I am curious and worried that I never received any request for finger prints? Is this something normal, does it happen usually and if anyone knows if that happens what will be the next steps.

I submitted mine on January 9th, AOR on January 27, and still no movement or updates. There are way too many factors that decide the progress of the application, and some of them are unknown to us. They may bounce them from the processing office to a processing office, depending on the application load. Way too many factors. You gotta be patient and wait, or you can try to raise a webform, or call them.
