After an year of wait, finally the tracker got updated and lpp completed 18 December

oath ceremony scheduled 9th January 2024. Official email not yet received but updated on tracker

my question

1. I will be travelling on 22nd January. Can I be able to reschedule the oath ceremony in mid of February or will they make it even more late if I reschedule this

2.Mine was a family application with 3 kids. Can my kids and wifey take the oath ceremony and I will schedule it later once I am back to Canada.?

If you are traveling on the 22nd of January, why not do the oath and apply for an emergency passport after the oath? There is enough time between 9th and 22nd to process it.

Getting the passport then applying for a visa to travel - looks like a hassle to me. Wanted to make sure if this is doable thing. Dont want to get stuck in limbo after oath
anyone did this before and they got the passport on time.?

does anyone have timeline from oath ceremony to getting passport? I am taking my chances but wanted to calculate the risks associated with getting the new passport on urgent basis as I am travelling

If the ceremony is in person, you'll have your certificate handed out to you there and then. Keep your forms and picture ready and submit your express request the same day. The passport should be ready in 24-48 hours (2 business days)
