Hey

I wanted to share the latest information from my CSIS report:

Request was received & processed on 4/13/23
Status is Completed
Client: 5000 Citizenship (routine)
Priority: P2
CTC Required: N
Based on this, it seems like my security process is completed. However, like many others, I find myself stuck on the LPP. Let's hope for a resolution soon!

It's just like GCMS notes. Just google ATIP and then click personal and look for CSIS from the list...you can also find others like CBSA

Fingerprints were submitted on November 8, 2023. (without letter, I just anticipated the request.)
Fingerprints request letter, November 10, 2023 ( it did not appear on my tracker yet.)
GU November 14, 2023.
Fingerprints mailed by RCMP to MTL November 15
Background check completed on the tracker November 30

What led you to anticipate the request for fingerprints?

What led you to anticipate the request for fingerprints?

The criminality check, initiated by the Sydney office, should only take a few days and at most two weeks to move out of 'in-process' status. The response should either be 'passed' or a request for fingerprints, and it shouldn't remain 'in-process' for more than two weeks. However, when I called, they told me mine has been 'in-process' for almost a month, which is unusual for a criminality check.

We have submitted our applications in Jan 2023 (family of 4, in paper application), received AOR in Feb 2023, completed test in May 2023 since then no update, LPP is stuck "In Progress". I have no idea if we can do any kind of follow up? Can anyone please advise?

Still no updates since March of 2023... and now I'm pregnant! My child will be a citizen before I am.

It's a bit frustrating to see such a long delay and without any clue of how to follow up. All the best.

Absolutely...some of my known contacts who applied in Sep already completed oath while we are waiting from many months.

Hello people, got my most recent notes from GCMS today. My new status says E-Grant DF.

I have read in some comments from this forum that the status means that it’s “Decision Finalized”. Is that actually the case? Please note thst my LPP is still in progress and GCMS says “not started”.

the status before this was E-grant PR Status which was from last month.

I did call the same number. select options 2, 3, 4, 1, 0 and if line is free, you could talk to an agent. You could try other ways too.
