Curious if the nationality has to do with the speed of the process for the individual. I've got a Ukrainian colleague who was living here, she applied for citizenship and got from within 4 months (not urgent), same thing for another friend. Both applied last August and got it by December.

It is anecdotal. They probably got very lucky. Did they apply as a family? Usually, family applications are prioritized over single applicants. I don't think it makes sense to prioritize Ukrainian applications for citizenship. If, as Ukrainians (coming from Ukraine) applying for citizenship, it is assumed they are already permanent residents, it is not like they are under “direct” danger or something, just logically speaking. They probably got lucky... Or the processing officer has personal sympathy

Relax. You should receive the email 24-48 hours before your test window starts. Also this step, I don’t think has anything to do with the strike. It mostly seems automated. Best of luck!
Oh, cool! Thanks for the info.
I submitted on March 29th , appeared on tracker as received April 5th
Thanks for the info. I guess it's time for some call centre fun
When you submit a webform, do you usually receive a receipt of submission in your email ?

As far as I remember there is no immediate automated receipt. However, within a day or two an email with acknowledgment should come through. With standard FAQs.
Hi my timelines similar to yours. Post the BG Complete on Apr 18th no progress has been seen. Might be something to do with strike. Not sure if order GCMS notes helps in expediting the process in any way
Yes, I'm optimistic

Yes, and in most cases, it's received the same day.
