The nomination certificate expiry date only matters when you're in the pool. If you hadn't recieved an ITA or accepted an ITA before the expiry date of the nomination, then it becomes invalid and you lose the 600 points.
Once you've applied, the nomination is locked in on your eAPR date.

I know. Thats not my concern. They wasted 2 months of our time coz they stopped Express Entry draws after Nov 23 so we could only apply when draws resumed on Jan 11. I am just tired of the endless wait for no valid reason.
If they mess up now coz they are very capable of doing anything under the sun , I don't want to be going around repeating the entire process again - requesting the province to extend the nomination certificate, creating new EE profile, arranging for PCCs, appearing for IELTS and bla bla bla
Me too! I just would like to understand what’s the “issue” with my application. GCMS only showed me they’re slow and there’s no really good information on the notes items.

10 Months is the quoted time for PNP applications, and there's not much we can do about it unfortunetly. But I do feel your pain, I'm coming up to 6 months on Sunday since I applied.

That’s what I was thinking. The same documents submitted for nomination we provided for the federal part of it. I understand there is a background check, which is not conducted under the nomination evaluation, so that would be kind of the only extra step of it with ME and Biometrics.
Hi all, my Background Verification changed from 'In progress' to 'Completed' yesterday. So far, everything on the tracker shows 'Completed' except 'Eligibility' which still shows up as 'Not Started'. However, looking at my GCMS notes it's pretty obvious that my eligibility is well under review, especially with the whole ''review required'' issue. Is it common to have background verification, more so the security part, completed before a decision is made on Eligibility? I have heard that Security is usually the final step and only begins once Eligibility is recommended pass. I am just curious because I am still worried about my Eligibility being flagged.
Update: Today my Eligibility changed from 'Not Started' to 'Completed' and I see a COPR number on my tracker. I think my application is close to being finalized. Fingers crossed and again I really appreciate everyone's help! Also, what would be the next step for CEC inland applicants? Just wait for an email?
