Hello Everyone,

Just want to know where our profile stands currently this is what it is.

Medical - 15th February
Biometric - 17th February

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
• Yesterday we called IRCC to see whether the are status of the application she read the same thing which was in the profile online.
  
  And when specifically asked she said them of eligibility and background she said eligibility is not started and BGS is in progress.
  Wanted to know whether is that possible they do the profile in any order or they go as per the order mentioned in the online profile like eligibility medical bimetric BGS and final decision.
  
  
• Any help will help to determine what status we are in.

I did receive this mail as well, the status of my profile was also showing as "Updated" a few mins back. Now it's back to submitted.

Your Background Check status might have changed to "Your application is in progress.We will....".

It may mean that you have cleared your eligibility, but only IRCC can confirm it. You can call them and check whether you have actually cleared it.

I don't have an answer for your question. But what is your AOR and what does your Background Check status show? FSW-O or CEC?

Sorry, i have no idea. It will always differ from case to case. But don't worry, eligibility is a biggest hurdle and you have cleared it. Nobody can guess the way they work. Chill.

Hi, I am an FSW (Inland) applicant with AOR on Jan 28. I just called IRCC and found out that the criminality and background check are in process, while the eligibility and security are not started yet. Moreover, the visa office changed from CIO-Sydney to CIO-Ottawa. Is this a good sign?

Thanks for that, I'll try and call them up in a day or two. Was even thinking about ordering GCMS notes by the end of next month.
